wedding forecast by JM :: Dry Bar

"Dry Bar"
An influx of blow dry salons has hit the city of L.A. No cuts, no color, just blowouts! Trendsetter Alli Webb, introduced the sassy concept and thus opened the first of its kindDry Bar. The hip little salon in Brentwood, California opened its doors in February, opened two others in Studio City and WeHo (West Hollywood) and has the following locations in the works: Pacific Palisades, Newport Beach, Dallas, TX and Scottsdale, AZ. Perhaps I should franchise in San Diego ;-).

For only $35, you can choose the blowout of your choice. Wash included! Dry Bar offers the following:

  • Straight Up (simple and straight)
  • Manhattan (simple and straight)
  • Southern Comfort (big hair and volume)
  • Cosmopolitan (loose curls)
  • Mai Tai (sleek and smooth)

The waiting area promises a “spirited” atmosphere where refreshments are created just for you. Come in for a brunch blowout and enjoy complimentary mimosas and croissants or come after work for happy hour and sip on a complimentary cocktail. Additional sides include the Floater, a 10-minute scalp massage, Bartabs which are monthly membership programs and gift packs that will make your girlfriend, BFF, sister, boss, love you even more. And of course, my favorite part...Dry Bar does private parties! Your ladies will be flipping their hair with confidence (literally), at your next birthday bash, bachelorette party, or bridal shower. What a creative idea for your next girly girl soirĂ©e.
